1998 blazer 4wd A/C quit working after mechanics disconnected the battery for several days. The A/C gets cold but the sytem stays on high-hot all the time. The blend valve is trying to function but just keeps "groaning" over and over (about ten second intervals) as if it can't find the "cool" zone. I've just about torn the dash out to find this valve and convert it to a manual system. Just a year ago I had a compeltely new A/C compressor etc installed and it worked perfectly until these idiots disconnected the battery and apparently screwed up the A/C control system. They are refusing to take responsibility (naturally). What do I do? I can't afford another grand or more to have the interor A/C system repared at the dealer. I live in las Vegas. It's gonna be hot. I must have the A/C working.
have the same problem?
