I have a 1998 Cadillac Catera. Yesterday, I went to start my car and my key would not turn at all. I have continuously moved the sterring wheel left and right, I made sure the car was in park, and I even made sure I was pressing the brake while doing it. It did nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what would need to be replaced.

The cheapest easiest fix would be if we can get the cylinder to turn then we would only have to replace the cylinder. Lets try this pop off the cylinder bezel then get a hammer and lightly tap on the key hole opening and see if the cylinder turns.
