The check engine light has been turning on and off for about a year but I have not had the catalytic converter or sensor repaired or replaced. Now the battery light has started turning on and off - the dealer had to replace a connector because the battery terminal cable was loose. Is these two problems related? Is the battery problem more critical and should be attended to sooner?
