My battery light comes on after driving at high rpm's for a short time. I have a new battery (less than a year). Just installed a new alternator and it still happens. My car has never shut down or not started. Not sure if this is a fluke or a potential serious problem. It doesnt seem to come on when traveling at low speeds, only on the expressway. I turn the car off, then immediately back on and the light is off. At least for a while. I am currently 4 1/2 hours away from home for work and have to leave to go home this coming weekend and I noticed the light came on again today and am worried about my trip home. Thanks for your time.
