Last week on my way home the check engine light.

Last week on my way home the check engine light started flashing and the car started losing power so I took it to the automotive store and had it hooked to the computer. It said that the #4 cylinder wasn't firing right so I replaced the plugs and plug wires but that hasn't completely fixed the problem. The motor will still sputter and lose power and at the same time the light starts flashing again but then it levels out and the check engine light stays on like normal but there is still a loss of power. What else should I check or replace?

Could be vacuum leak, injector failure, wiring or low compression. All these need to be checked.
