Engine smokes since the timing belt was changed
1997 MAZDA 626
Engine smokes since the timing belt was changed. Water still drips out from exhaust though. What could possibly be the cause of the problem?

Sounds like a blown head gasket from overheating. The smoke may be coolant buring in the motor. Have a leak down test performed to confirm.
