When sitting for eight hrs or more the rear suspension gets very low to the ground but not all the time and never when it is being driven and I was wondering what exactly the problem could be if it is the air bags or something else to do with the air suspension
Do you
have the same problem?

Probably a leak in the air system, can be tricky to track down, best way is to check all connections first with washing detergent as this will bubble up when placed on a leak.

The rear air springs are leaking. If you're fairly handy, you could do them yourself.
For even less than the air bags, you could do a coil spring conversion and be done with it forever.
