That was great thanks. I have two of these cars, 1 manual. My son has the other car 300 miles away so I gave the manual to him. My car has twice the miles and I am just trying to keep it alive for 1 more year when I will be done commuting to work. Then it will be a parts donor until it is scrapped.

I'VE BEEN KEEPING MY TWO ALIVE TOO!

IT'S REALLY PRETTY EZ

THE "BLING" WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOREVER. SO THERE IS NO NEED TO KEEP UP WITH THE JONES' BY GETTING SOMETHING NEWER

BESIDES. NEWER STUFF IS SO MUCH MORE COMPLICATED AND 90% PLASTIC. A FEW YEARS IN THE SUN, AND IT'S GONE

I'VE ALWAYS HAD A JEEP. AND NUTHIN' ELSE. BEEN ON THE ASPHALT SINCE '81. 10 YEARS AND FIVE CJ 5s LATER, I OBTAINED AND REBUILT MY PRESENT CJ 5 ("MR. JEEP" 1977 W/ 258 STRAIGHT 6) AND MY WILLYS CJ 2A ("WILLY" 1946 W/134 FLATHEAD. OVER THE YEARS HE'S SORTA BEING CONVERTED INTO A WW II "MB") I FINALLY "GREW UP" AND "REALLY" STARTED TAKING CARE OF MY STUFF. I'VE NOW HAD THESE TWO FOR 23 YEARS AND BOTH ARE DAILY DRIVERS!

YOU OUGHTA GET YOU ONE!

I had an really old bronko that had been built for off road duty. 1/4 plate in for the floors. Was a lot of fun, but at 59, I like my expedition.

Right now I am struggling with fixing the air ride on my 97 linc.

Blown fuse under hood had nothing to do with air ride. I am waiting for a new set of air springs to arrive. If you check, I have posted a question about it, but there has been no response.

WHEN ON THAT PAGE---GO TO THE TOP WHERE THE ADDRESS IS FOR THAT PAGE

IT'LL LOOK SORTA LIKE THIS (ADDRESS FOR THIS PAGE)

http://www.2carpros.com/questions/1997-lincoln-continental-under-hood-fuse-box

PUT YOUR CURSOR OVER THE ADDRESS (ANYWHERE)

RIGHT CLICK

IT WILL HIGHLIGHT AND A BOX WILL POP UP

SELECT AND LEFT CLICK "COPY"

NOW THE ADDRESS IS SORTA IN A WAY "STORED" INSIDE YOUR RAT (MOUSE)

COME BACK TO THIS PAGE AND WRITE...TALK...WHATEVER

GET ON A BLANK LINE WITH YOUR CURSOR AND "RIGHT CLICK" YOUR RAT.....BOX WILL APPEAR.....SELECT AND CLICK ON "PASTE"

IT WILL "DROP THE ADDRESS" ON THIS PAGE

AS LONG AS YOU DON'T "BUTT" OTHER LETTERS AGAINST IT, IT WILL BE A LINK

THE ADDRESS IS STILL IN YOUR RAT 'TILL YOU COPY SOMETHING ELSE.......YOU CAN ALSO GET IN FRONT OF/ BEHIND OTHER CRAP....LEFT CLICK AND "HOLD" THE BUTTON DOWN.....DRAG LEFT OR RIGHT UP OR DOWN TO "HIGHLIGHT" ANYTHING, ANY LENGTH......GET THE CURSOR INSIDE THE HIGHLIGHTED PORTION AND "RIGHT CLICK"......BOX APPEARS........SELECT AND LEFT CLICK "COPY"

THEN DROP IT IN YOUR TEXT (WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING ON YOUR COMPUTER)........I USE THIS METHOD TO COPY OTHER INFO FROM OTHER ANSWERS AND REUSE IT WITHOUT RE-WRITING IT ALL....SOMETIMES ALL OF IT....SOMETIMES JUST PORTIONS

HERE'S AN EXAMPLE FROM HERE ON DOWN THAT TOOK ONLY 5 SECONDS TO POST

OK PAL, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHICH CYLINDER IS #1 ON YOUR ENGINE

REMEMBER YOUR ENGINE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE

THE PROCEDURE IS EXACTLY THE SAME---EVEN ON A 4 CYLINDER THRU A 10 CYLINDER

WATCH THIS THRU SEVERAL TIMES...PAY ATTENTION TO "REMOVED WITHOUT ANY REFERENCES"---BASICALLY "HERE IT IS ON THE TABLE, PUT IT IN!"

I'M SENDING "DAVID AND CHAD" TO GIVE YOU A HAND

CLASS 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a2X9mSSlQY

CLASS 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=FHX1yXVyIMg&feature=endscreen

IF YOU DID NOT MARK THE BODY OF THE DISTRIBUTOR AND THE ENGINE, YOU ARE GONNA NEED A TIMING LIGHT AND THE "EXACT" PROCEDURE IN SETTING THE TIMING (MIGHT HAVE TO DISCONNECT A WIRE OR VACUUM LINE WHILE TIMING)

ONE OF THESE IS VERY HELPFUL FOR DOING IT RIGHT

http://www.2carpros.com/questions/2007-ford-taurus-tune-up

KEEP US POSTED ON PROGRESS

LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES!!!!!!
