My truck has 3 codes but they appear twice in my obd2 scanner they are P171, P1537, and P1538. With the engine running the RPMs drop and the engine starts to shake like it was going to turn off. It does that alot of times that some times the engine dies.

P0171 is a lean issue with the vehicle. It can cause the engine to act up like its doing. But shouldnt die out unless its very lean. Its probably runnign lean due to the p1537 and 38 code indicating both of your imrc's are stuck open which is the high rpm position. What you should do is check to make sure they are both moving. If so you are going to have to check the control side of the IMRC's
