I was sitting at a red light when my car puttered and died. Through several attempts the car would not start. When gotten out of the roadway and hitting on the gas tank (the car had over 1/4 tank) the car started and ran for less than a minute. (-Aprox) It would not stay running. After the car was stuck and sat for 6 days it started right up but would not stay running. I don't know what is going on with my car. Initially I was told fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel relay pump. When attempting to buy the fuel pump relay the store attendant said that would not be the problem. He suggested the fuel filter or fuel pump. Other known mechanics(3) as well as myself (after doing online research) have not been able to find the fuel filter. But now my battery is dead. Today my car was practically lifted on 2 wheels for a mechanic to find filter. Is it possible to die if the car is lifted too high on one side? What is wrong with my car and the fuel issue?
have the same problem?
