I have a 1997 chevrolet blazer and while I was driving today there was a loud clanking noise. Started off not so loud and then it got really loud. Eventually while turning a corner it felt like the whole bottom collapsed. As I drove to the side of the road it felt like I was driving over huge boulders. I parked and looked under truck and nothing was dragging, but as I was parking my truck up hill on the right side of the road the whole truck was shaking and banging so bad also like I was driving over huge boulders that we couldn't even barely get it to move. Once put in park it started to roll backwards, so we put the emergency break on.

Does park work at all? Based on your description, it sounds like something came apart in the transmission. Let me know.
