MY TRANSFER CASE ON MY 97 BLAZER IS LEAKING, MY MECHANIC SAID THE FLUID IS LEAKING FLUID BETWEEN TH TRANY AND FLOWING INTO THE TRANSFER CASE THUS LEAKING ON THE GROUND, ABOUT 6 MONTH AGO HE DRAINED THE TRANSFER CASE DOWN TO NORMAL AND REFILLED THE TRANY. NO LEAK AFTER THAT, NOW I AM BACK AT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH NO FUNDS TO PAY FOR ANOTHER JOB.
DON'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE?

There should be a seal on the output shaft of the tranny as well as one on the t-case. Not the paper gasket that goes between them. You may have a worn out bushing in the rear of the trans.

Yes you can do that as well but it won't fix anything and it will get worse as time goes on.
