I have a 1997 Z3. Are the front breaks and rotors the same for a 1996?

Realoem.com is a great site to visit to see the interchangability of parts on BMW cars. It would be possible to say if I knew exactly what the VIN of the car in question and the part numbers were, but that information wasn't included, so the best I can do is to have you do it yourself... at this time.
