Why is my truck missing only between 2200-2700 RPM's

Replaced pcv valve and hose, injectors professionally cleaned, spark plug and wires, fuel pump and filter, igniter replaced, MAF cleaned, checked for vacuum leaks and found none, checked for cracks in intake found none. Cannot figure the problem out at all. Please help-- dylan shook

Also checked egr valve and its good and checked timing and its perfect

I did a compression check by bumping the motor over on the first cylinder and it was between 80 and 100 but im not sure if thats the accurate way to get the compression

You need to take all the spark plugs out they install the compression tester, then turn the engine over a few times. This will give you an accurate reading.

One cylinder at a time. Or do I need more than one compression checker? I have one that is just a single hose that runs to a gauge. Also. Do u think it could be the throttle position sensor? I was reading on another page an a guy said he had a similar problem an it was a bad spot internally in the tps

It is possible that the TPS is causing this problem. I would start with a compression test. Just take all the spark plugs out then test on cylinder at a time.

Is there any more information for this problem? I am having the same problem. My truck was hesitating and shuddering mostly noticeable when accelerating and going up inclines. I found that the #1 spark plug is pitted and white and needed re-gapping. A friend said it looks like it is being starved for fuel. I cleaned the spark plugs and re-gapped #1. IT ran better but as the day went on it varied and that is when I noticed that the problem was most noticeable btwn 2200 and 2700 rpm. Today I put all new platinum spark plugs in and it is running more smoothly but I am a feared the problem is not fixed. I have not checked the compression in the cylinders and don't presently have a way to do that. What problem were you getting at with the original person?

What would cause my 2000 toyota tacoma to miss on all cylinders? It just started when I cranked it and does it all through the rpm range.

Check for vacuum leaks and the idle air control. It is responsible for maintaining the idle speed.
