THE HEATER CORE ON A 1996 NISSAN QUEST XE MUST ...

The Heater Core on a 1996 Nissan Quest XE must be broken because there is water leaking into the interior of the van. The Core was bought but no hoses are included. What exactly is fully needed to properly replace the heater core? They also tell me that there are Two Heater cores?

If you have a rear heater, yes, there are 2

Front Heater Core

REMOVAL

Drain cooling system.
Disconnect two heater hoses in engine compartment.
Disconnect heater unit ducts.
Remove two heater unit bolts.
Disconnect door motor electrical connectors.
Remove heater unit.

Remove heater pipe plate.

Remove heater core retainer.

Disconnect heater core shutoff valve control rod.

Remove heater core from heater unit.

INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse order of removal. Inspect system for coolant leaks.
