ON OUR '03 ESCAPE, THE WIMPY LITTLE B.OOGER, I LOST REVERSE, AFTER A "MILD" FORWARD/ REVERSE WORKOUT.....FORWARD, BEGAN EXHIBITING PROBLEMS, SOON AFTER.

BEING TAUGHT THE "OLD SCHOOL" WAY, AND HAVING LIVED IT, OVER THE YEARS I'VE BEEN DRIVING, I THOUGHT MAYBE IT MIGHT NEED A TRANNY FILTER AND FLUID CHANGE.....NOT!....FILTER IS INTERNAL AND THE TRANNY MUST BE DISASSEMBLED TO GET TO IT!

RIGHT NOW, YOU NEED TO START LOOKING FOR A "QUALIFIED" REASONABLE TRANSMISSION SHOP....BEFORE A TOW TRUCK IS REQUIRED TO GET YOU THERE (MORE $$$)

ON MY WIFE'S PARTICULAR TRANNY, UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE VALVE BODY HAVE SUPPOSEDLY MADE IT BETTER, ALONG WITH A TOTAL REBUILD........I AM VERY GOOD ABOUT INQUIRING AT THE RIGHT PLACES AND FINDING REASONABLE PEOPLE TO DO WORK FOR ME THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME! AUTO-TRANNY IS ONE OF THEM!

MORE ABOUT WIFE'S FORD....READ MY RESPONSE ON APRIL 11TH.....OWNING A "REAL" VEHICLE HELPS DURING TOUGH TIMES TOO!

I TOO, SORTA KNOWING IT, MIGHT ONLY BE SOLVED THRU A MIRACLE....THE "FAMOUS CJ MEDEVAC" SUBMITTED A DONATION QUESTION HIMSELF!

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO FIND OUT, WHO IS GOOD?.....AND WHO AIN'T?!

THIS PLACE WORKS SOMETIMES FOR FIXES----GOOD LUCK!
