I have a 1996 chevy cavelier 2.2 engine and when I drive it there is no speed I push the pedle to the floor and it takes a while to get up to speed and when I put it in reverse it starts to stall out. I had poeple tell me its alot of stuff. I put a new catilitic converter a new fuel pump and fuel filter new spark plugs and wires and both new o2 sensors. When the car is sitting on idle it shakes. My new catilitic converter also heats up to a red! The only things I think is the prob is coils or fuel injecter or ignition control modual? Please help.

Do you

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating********, bogging, misfiring etc. Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it
