On my 96 camaro 3.8 V6 I was getting a grinding sound from the rear end. We took apart the rear end expecting a bearing. There was a spacer for the spindle that had shattered and the bearing on the same side was chewed up so we replaced both. Kept driving it and still had a noise just not as loud. So we tore it back down and headed for the pinion bearings. So I Replaced both differential bearings and the outside (front) pinion bearing and I am still getting a Blowing type sound from the back end randomly and everytime I push the gas. Im thinking maybe we didnt get the bearing tight enough, which we thought we did. Can anyone tell me what it is?
