I bought the car after the person did an automatic transmission to a manual transmission Swap and the neutral safety switch some how changed from park to reverse and now it won't start it ran and drove until a day ago and now when I turn the key on the indicator light in the cluster went from park to drive I swapped clusters to a manual trans cluster and now when I turn the key on the reverse lights are on and I was told I have to bypass or eliminate the neutral safety switch

Do you

So is there still a neutral saftey switch plugged in?You have to also hook up the wires to the neutral saftey switch for the back up switch.
