I have a 95 pontiac bonneville. When I crank my car, it starts but then cut off. When I press the gas valve under the hood, air come out and the car wont start. After pushing the valve 3 times, gas comes out and then the car starts up again but only still for a minute. But when I took the air filter off, it crunk up and stayed on? What can be going on with this car?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs-if okay. Clean and test the idle air control valve, EGR valve, MAP and TPS sensors
