IDLING HIGH 2400 RPM

My honda wouldn't start friday so I changed the started. It now starts but idles too high. It feels as if the cable is too tight but I've adjusted it several times and that is not the problem. I can't seem to figure this out, Please help.

Check to make sure you didn't bump any vacuum hoses and check the idle air control valve (IAC). The IAC is what is responsible for maintaining the engine idle speed.
