Xxxxnter your question. The rear tank on my pickup started to leak and I removed it and ordered a new one. I thought that when I removed it that I could still drive it with the front tank but when I went to start it up it blew fuel out of the rear tank fuel line. I am not much of a mechanic but like to fix things myself. I there any way to plug the rear line off without causing overpressure in the system?
I was going to cut the quick conn. Off of the old fuel pump, put a piece of fuel line on it and a cuttoff on it untill I get the other tank. I just don't know if the fuel pump pressure would be too great for a piece of rubber fuel line to take. Can this be done safely? And if so, what is the working pressure of the front tank fuel pump? Thank You!
have the same problem?
