Well a friend told me how to make the codes flash and it flashes a nineteen over and over nothing else what does that mean

I agree with you Roy but I want to make sure all possibilities have been checked b4 I sink 1400 bucks in a truck if its unecissary

I completely agree. You could remove the pump and find a truck shop and find out where they get there pumps serviced. They could test it to verify for you.

Crank sensor sends a tach signal to the ecm. I have never had it not allow a diesel to start from this generation. Have seen solenoids fail. Glow plug controller and plugs themselves, mechanical pumps fail but not sensor failure.

Good luck, by the way, did you try spraying any starting fluid into the air filter to see if it tries to start? Just a small spritz as it can damage the motor if you use too much

I agree and I can't justify putting that much money into it I just took it back to my buddy he wants 2200 for it and if im gunna have to spend that much to fix it rite off the bat I dnt want it so thanx for all your help I learned alot I appreciate everything
