WHAT IS MORE EXPENSIVE: CHANGING A CAR DOOR LOCK? OR INSTALLING A REMOTE STARTER/KEYLESS ENTRY THINGY

It's an easy question,
I replaced my driver side door with one that I bought from LKQ. After I put everything back together, I realized I need a new lock or a new key. But I see remote starters/keyless entry packages for under $100.
Should I get the starter/keyless entry? Or dismantle the 'new' door to try to replace the lock?
