OCCASIONALLY STARTS THEN WHEN YOU APPLY GAS IT SHUT OFF COMPLETELY?

My 95 Chevy Blazer occasionally starts after a few turning of the key, it idles rough and when you apply gas to go at a higher speed it shuts off completely and the power steering and brakes lock up too. Plus there is a strong odor of gas fumes in the rear. I have replaced the fuel filter, added cleaner to gas tank, as well as a coolant sensor, recently had a complete tune up as well. Its still not running.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure first. Your evap cannister may be plugged or the valve stuck. What engine is it as there were 2 vin will tell
