Hi, about two months ago my car began to have an issue where it wouldn't start on the first crank. It has now reached a point where it will simply not start at all or other times it will start. It will even start and shut off while driving. The first mechanic I hired checked the injectors and changed the seals but aside from that there was no problem he could diagnose so I had an electrician looked at it. He changed the module in the distributor, the engine started and worked fine for a few days then the same problem reoccurred, he checked the ECU and once again the distributor, he determined that I need a new distributor. So I changed those, the car was fine for about two days then it began making a weird sound like it wasnt going to start however it did for the other two days then it shut off on me on the road. I had another mechanic look at and he actually put the first distributor back in n changed the condenser, he aid that was the problem but once again by the next day the car was giving trouble to start, eventually I got it started, took it back to the electrician n he kept it overnight because it started whenever he tried. The next morning he tried it, it wouldn't start so he changed the ECU and it started everytime he tried it. He left it to sit overnight again and tried it and he says it started but I got it back yesterday n it would not start this morning. It seems to happen more often when its left to sit overnight but it has shut off on me twice while driving, it just stops and the check lights come on. The engine check light comes on at about 80 kmh but I'm told its the oxygen sensor ( I had changed the oxygen sensor to no avail, the check light remained). These electricians are costing me an arm and a leg and I know you cant solve the problem online but I was hoping you might have a few ideas as to what the problem could be?
