I have a 1994 mazda b3000 automatic pick-up. When I shift to drive the truck will hesitate for just 1 or 2 seconds. It will then drive fine until I take it out of drive. Once I have driven the truck 5 to 10 minutes and shift back to drive it takes about 20 seconds or longer to engage in drive. I also have to run the rpms up around 2500 to 3000.
Now any time I shift into reverse it goes every time no problem. I have changed the transmission filter and the fluid level is fine. I was told that if it goes in reverse every time that it is not my torque converter. Could a transmission flush fix this.

Do you
have the same problem?
