When I switch my lights from dim to bright my lights die. Any ideas and diagnostic tips???

You could have a bad dimmer switch, bad bulbs or even a wiring problem. You will have to do some testing while following a wiring diagram. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/58902824.jpg.gif
