The car starts and runs fine most of the time, however, there is times when it won't start at all. It turns over while turning the starter, but acts like it isn't getting any fuel. The frequency of this occurrence has increased over a few months. Now it can be running fine when all of a sudden it shuts off and won't restart. We have changed the fuel filter several times without results. We have disconnected the supply hose to the filter while trying to crank the car to see whether or not the fuel pump is working. We are not sure if that is a valid way to tell or not. We recently changed the fuel pump and it ran fine for a day before going back to its old tricks. We have also changed the rubber fuel line hoses. Is there a relay switch that could be going bad or could it be the impact shutoff switch located in the driver side rear panel?
have the same problem?
