Heater not hot enough - core bad?

My truck seems to be not blowing hot enough air.
It takes about 25-30 minutes for my truck to reach operating temp when sitting idling. From as many people as I could ask the norm is just above middle on the temp gauge.
my truck has 375000kms and runs great with lots of power. I have noticed over the passed 6 months sometimes it gets low on coolant. It is common for the B2600i heads to crack and leak into the combustion chamber.
One time when my truck wasn't plugged in the coolant froze. I have always added 50/50 premixed coolant if needed.
I have owned it for about 1.5 years.

So should I A) coolant flush B) replace the water pump C) change the heater core?
or a combination of the three?

I would add more coolant without out water if it freezes but would let engine warm up and feel both heater hoses and if one is alot cooler than the other I would take hoses loose from heater core and take water hose and flush out core going from cooler side toward hotter side.

1993 Mazda Truck - Heater is on full all the time. Cold/Hot selector switch moves but won't stop heat. Blower works normally as does cabin/ defrost selector.
No A/C on this model.
Great truck in winter!

Blower motor works fine, just the hot/cold selector. Don't know if this switch is mechanical or electrical. Hoping not to have to dismantle the dash.

I cannot seem to pull out the heater block and need it done for work. Dash is all out and it seem to have bolt or something left that I cannot get out.

1.Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine coolant.
2.Disconnect heater hoses from heater unit and remove grommet.
3.Remove instrument panel, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.
4.Remove heater unit attaching nuts and bolts, then the heater unit, Fig. 1.
5.Remove heater core from heater unit.
6.Reverse procedure to install.

My blower won't work. It was off and on but now it just won't blow ant air out what so ever.

First I would check the fuse, then I would suspect either the blower motor itself or the resistor. If you can get access to the motor, turn on the blower speed switch to medium speed and turn on the ignition switch and tap on the bottom of the blower motor wih a small hammer and see if it comes on. If so you need a new blower motor.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
