How do you determine which Dana front and rear end is in your Wrangler? Also, is hard to replace all of the weatherstripping on a YJ? Thanks!

I believe that they are stamped onto the axle also - or there is a metal sheet on the axle that the gearing should be stamped on.

My rear axle is stamped D35 into the axle near the differential, w/ the gearing on the metal 'badge' that held on by the differential cover bolts.
My transfer case has a 'badge' on it w/ model & gearing stamped on that.
