CAR WON'T START

When the car is cold t starts ok. Once you have driven and switched the engine off, it won't start again. When you turn the ignition switch the rev counter swings backwards and forwards. Have already replaced the modular in the distributor as well as checking the spark plug wires. Please advise what else to do. Many thanks

If the engine doesn't even turn over when a restart is attempted, then id check the battery first. Have it load tested and make sure its fully charged before testing. A poorly charged battery will always fail. If the battery fails don't forget to check the charging system
