hi ive made all repairs while this tropper was in limp mode. But I never got a scanner to clear the computer, so we drove it anyway and it went in and out of limp mode several times. The other day we drove roughly 15 miles and shut it off came back out to start it up and it wouldnt start. I used a jumper wire to read the codes and all I got was 1 flash pause then 2 flashes, I assume thats the computers handshake code. How do I clear the ecm and start all over without the use of a diagnostic scanner because I dont have one

Disconnecting the battery would reset but if you have a problem, it is going to come back.

Can you explain what happens when it is in limp mode?
How did you come to the conclusion that it is in limlpmode?
Did the MIL come on then?

Non starting is not limp mode. When it fails to start, you need to find out what is missing.
