Hello, I have a 92 Ford F350 tow truck. Sometimes the engine stalls and then it fails to start for about 20 minutes until it starts. The engine and transmission were rebuilt and the car runs excellent till it stalls. Most of the stalls happens whem exiting the freeway, braking towards the red light, it stalls.
Sme times in the morning it doesn't start for a time or two but then it starts.
What can it be? My mechanic says might be something in the braking system, maybe creates a spark and cause the car to shut off and not allow for the car to start for awhile?
It's a very interesting truck and a work horse and definitely a keeper. Need to figure it out the stall to make it perfect.
