My 92 F250 blows a lot of black smoke especialy when im going around 60 mph and than accelerate. It also seems to ping alot as well. I recently changed out the seal on the drivers side front cylinder. That spark plug was totaly pluged up with burnt oil. It seems to be runing very rich as well and the exhaust smells very diferent than what would seem to be the normal. One more item of concerne. It goes through a tremendous amount of oil and does not leak at all any where underneath. My truck was lacking power as well before I fixed the seal. Any response/information would be very helpful.
Thank You

You best start with a comp test or a leak down test to gauge the internal health of the rings, I would do this first.
