I have a 1991 ford probe runs good in cool weather however when it gets hot outside you can drive it 20 miles it will start missing and then just die and not restart. When you let it cool down a couple of hours it will go another 20 miles, the car isn't overheating I think it has something to do with the spark because one day I was broke down and under the hood and took the coil wire off when you hold the coil wire 1/4" away from the distributor cap it runs fine I even had to actually tape the wire in posistion off the cap to make it home I replaced plugs coil and had the ignition module checked please give me your feedback

Do you
have the same problem?
