on a 1991 integra gs, how do you reset the check engine light?

The CEL comes on when an error has been detected and you need to rectify the problem to get the light to turn off. Even if you do not reset, the light is not going to show. The error would only be storedin memory.
Pulling the back-up fuse or disconnecting the battery would reset.
