Hi. Geoff here. My 1989 SAAB 900i has a tendency to unexpectedly stall on the open road, even at 100 kph. It's just as if the car has run out of petrol, or seems choked or starved of air. I role to the side of the road, come to a stop, then turn the key and amazingly the car starts and continues on like nothing has happened. However this can happen 3 times on a 50 km trip. No mechanic I've taken it seems to know how to fix it. One said it was an Air -Flow meter problem, which I replaced. This seemed to fix the problem for a while, but then the same stalling problem returned. Help. Getting desperate for a fix here!
