Do I need a special tool, do I need to put oil or grease on the bearing. Do I press the pilot bearing in with a special tool.

To remove it your need a pilot bearing puller you maybe able to rent one at auto zone or other auto parts store. You can tap the new bearing in with a soft face hammer.I would put a little grease on the input shaft before inserting it into the new bearing.
