Truck won't start. It turns over but will not engage. It is not the coil or anything like that. I have had this changed before but it was done for me, and I did not pay attention. Go ahead be nosy.

I am a lady, and no engine light is on. I know what the problem is. This situation has happened before, my repair manual does not show how to do it. I want to do it myself this time. I watched it being done last time. I have part of it out already I just can't get the rest of it out.

THIS IS A CO-ED SITE!.......(THAT MEANS WE LET GIRLS IN TOO!) LOL!!

THE STARTER "TURNING OVER" PART WAS FINE...."NOT ENGAGING" MIS-LED ME TO BELIEVE THAT MR. STARTER WAS NOT ENGAGING THE FLYWHEEL THEN "ECM"?......WHEN THIS INFORMATION WAS COMPLIED INTO MY "HIGHLY EFFICIENT BRAIN CONTAINER" I QUICKLY RECEIVED A PULSE, THEN A "CHECK QUESTION-EER LIGHT" CAME ON!

AFTER I GOT THE HEADS UP OF GENDER, I QUICKLY SWITCHED OVER TO A MODIFIED LANGUAGE INTERPRETING PROGRAM.........STILL IN THE INFANCY STAGES OF OPERATION!

THIS IS WHAT I GATHER:

YOUR TRUCK WILL NOT......."BUST OFF" AND RUN????

ROGER ON THAT!.....I WILL STILL HELP YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE HERE!

LETS GET THE PROPER TOOL TO REMOVE IT.....SOMETIMES I'VE SEEN A #1 PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER, BE THE TOOL TO FIT

BUT MOSTLY I'VE SEEN A 7mm SOCKET FIT (IT'S AN ODDBALL SIZE)

THEY MAKE A REAL INEXPENSIVE TOOL FOR THE JOB, IT'S SORTA A SHORT "NUT-DRIVER", WITH A PLASTIC K.NOB ON TOP (BELOW)

TAKE THE CONNECTION OFF

REMOVE THE 2 LITTLE SCREWS

SORTA SLIDE IT DOWN OUT OF THE CONNECTIONS (SEE THE PRONGS IN THE DIAGRAM)

DO NOT FORGET THIS!!!!

"HEAT DISSIPATION" GREASE-PASTE-WHATEVER!

THIS MAY COME WITH THE NEW MODULE....OR YOU GET IT AT THE COUNTER IN A LITTLE CONDIMENT TYPE PACKET

SMEAR IT ON THE BACK BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT....KEEPS IT COOL

CAN YOU GET BETTER INSTRUCTIONS THAN THAT?
