HOW DO I CHANGE A THERMOSTAT?

I have removed the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing. Also, I have removed the one(1) bolt that holds the housing on the block. When I try to remove it, it comes in contact with the throttle body. What do I do?

If the throttle body is causing the problem, loosen it enough to move it and remove the housing.
