Ford Ranger 1988 lx with 2.3 litre EFI engine.
With repair manual and a general knowledge of vehicles I
replaced a blown head gasket between #3 and #4. Before
replacing gasket compression test showed cylinders 1-4 at
(150#, 150#, 60#, 60#), after replacement 1-4 all at 150#.
Timing ok, Everything ok, except now lacks power. Rpms are running a bit higher than before, Going up hills are a challenge (
downshifting etc.) Need advice, possible solutions etc. Thanks
