Have a 1987 Chevy Suburban with a 350 TBI with a Transmission problem. While at a light we get the green I started to accelarate then my engine started to revve up and my vehicle started to slow down. Coasted into a gas station. Checked the trans fluid, levels okay. I put it in gear again and have to revve the engine up to make vehicle move. My question is could it be my torque converter gone bad or something worse with the transmission. V/R ARTHUR

Something worse. If it was the torque converter, it would not move at all. Regardless. It has to come out to be overhauled
