1985 Toyota Corolla not startin everytime we try

My gf has a 1985 toyota corolla and the battery keeps dying and what is wrong do u think it works some times and then other times it wont turn over till I get a jump start I think its the starter or the starter coil or is it to cold or maybe the car doesnt have a charger built in what do u think email me at markandtanyaforever@hotmail. This is a charging system problem, not starting system problem. Begin by inspecting the battery cables, both positive and negative. (Bat to frame, alternator to bat, engine to bat)

Sometimes the connectors become corroded and some times the wires themselves become corroded behind the insulation and break.

If cables are good, have the alternator checked.
