Fuel injector will not spray. I am getting fuel up to the throttle body. Put a new injector in the Sat.
Car will fire and run with starting fluid, but will not stay running. I can see that the fuel is not being sprayed into the fuel bowl. Not sure if this matters but the fan belt broke, shut the car off replaced belt and now the car will not run. Did check all fuses, and there are no codes from the ECM.

HELP!

Are you sure you are getting enough fuel to the fuel bowl? The belt shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I am pretty sure I am getting enough fuel. Fuel filter is full, I took it off and flushed it. When I replaced the injector, I had to break the seal on the fuel meter it was full also.

Sorry I miss read what you wrote. I would check and see if you have injector pulse at the injector. If you can obtain a set of noid lights, connect one to the injector connector and see if they flash when you crank the car over. You can try to take a test light and put it between the two terminals on the injector connector. It should do the same thing. Let me know what you find out. I will help you as much as I can

My Fiero did something like that. Went out one day and just wouldn't start. My mechanic replaced the ignition module and pick up coil and it fixed it. Couple hundred bucks but cheaper than a new car

Make sure there is 12 volts to the injector on the one side. The other side is pulsed by the computer. In most cases, the distributor pick up coil sends the signal to the ecm for firing the injectors. Have it checked to verify.

I was drivin my fiero and it died. At first I thought it didnt have gas. But when I put gas it still didnt want to inject fuel. The fuel pump work. At first thought that the filter was cloged up. So I changed it. Then the injector squirted a little bit of fuel. Then I thought the injector was cloged up to so I change it and when I did the injector squirts a lot of fuel and chokes the engine. Do you kno wats the problem?

Check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge, should be about 13psi on a TBI engine.

The injector could also be bad.

Replace the oil pressure sender, this engine uses the OP sender circuit as a backup. If OP sender is bad, it will shut off pump.
