I own a keihin carburator honda accord. The car idling is good but stalled when the accelerator is push. I restarts the car and allow it to idle about a minute and it gets misfired, more misfired then dies off. It can be restarts each time it dies off. I have replace the spark plug, clean the carburator and replace new gasket yet the problem persist. I remove the air filter and cover the carburator air inlet hole with my palm the air suction is good. I maintained hold onto the air inlet hole the idling dies off.I DIY to save cost. The mechanic says the carburator is damage and a replacement would cost 2 times the original. Please help.
