I have a 1983 Ford F100 p/u (60K original miles). I do not drive it often but typically start it up every few weeks to let it run. Last time I attempted to start it up it turned over but wouldn't start. I checked/replaced the fuel filter but still no ignition. When replacing the fuel filter I saw/felt no signs of gas flow to the carb--- (I expected at least some gas on my hands). I have limited repair knowledge therefore the only other problem I thought of was the fuel pump? Does this sound like a possible source of the problem? Are there other parts I should check? FYI - The battery is new therefore the vehicle is turning over good. Thanks
have the same problem?
