I have a 351 windsor motor from an 83 bronco, it is newly rebuilt. My uncle and I cannot keep it started for more than 20 min. After it has warmed up it will not start. We are getting some blowback and the cylinder pressure is around 90. Any suggestions on what might be the problem? We have changed the carburetor. The plugs are sparking. We have a low output fuel pump made for a 2 barrel not sure if that could cause this.

Check the compression on all cylinders if around 90 that is low on anewly rebuilt motor. Then check to see if cam is in time as well as distributor.
