22R 2.2 ENGINE SWAP WITH A 2.4 22R ENGINE

I reasentley ordered A 22R 2.2 liter engine for a 1981 toyota sr5 toyota pickup from a out of state distributer thay sent me a 2.4 liter engine that should fit an 85 or 86 or newer it is the only time I have let any one but myself or my father work on the truck and because of the companey want to sell engines the companey I hired has ran onto a lot of trouble my origional motar came with a dule timeing chane we have had to repalace the timing cover the water pump and now are having to replace the oil pump gear should the bractes bolt up corectly or do thay need modified and will the 1981 intake manifold and exhaust manifould bolt up properly or do I just need to cut my losses and ship the engine back

We only recommend direct fit parts. When you change things, there are always problems.
