My heater blower motor had died. I purchased and installed a new one, yet it seems like the output is low. I hooked the wires up to the matching colors. Is it possible the polarity is reversed, or would that pop a fuse? When the heater fan is on and you turn the key off, the blower motor winds down with a howl, and the alternator light illuminates, then fades slowly. Without the blower motor on, the light does not illuminate as you turn the key off. This problem did not occur prior to the installation of the new motor. Please help!
